In the last 5 days, Maggie has fallen 3 times, each time causing quite a bit of crying. On Monday, her final fall created crying after the incident and all through the night. We decided we should probably take her to see the orthopedic doctor again as it appeared that she re-injured her tibia.
After having an x-ray, they could not determine whether she had broken it or not, but the fact that she was not putting any weight on it, the doctor decided to cast her. So she finally got that purple "big band-aid" that she's been told about several times over.
Maggie's continual pain has subsided although she still hurts when she is moved in certain ways. She is not putting any weight on it yet, even though she has a walking cast and she is unable to crawl. She finally was able to sit up today, but pretty much Maggie is just sitting or laying on the couch watching television. Last night we gave Maggie a bath and she cried the entire time asking for her "band-aid" (cast) to come off, please. It was heartbreaking to hear and not be able to do anything.
We are pretty sad and upset about what has taken place. Five minutes before Maggie fell, she was walking across the room by herself smiling. It is so hard to be back where we were just a month or so ago. Maggie has been so happy and proud of herself for walking. She loves pushing her baby strollers and spends hours going back and forth playing independently. It had been so nice.
We're hoping for a quick recovery and for Maggie to be healthy and happy.

Hopefully she'll get used to the cast and it will provide support for complete healing and she'll feel more comfortable moving around soon.

Praying for quick, but efficient healing in Maggie's leg. I'm sure it is heartbreaking to watch her beg for her cast to come off. Hoping she'll cast free and care free very soon.

We're thinking about Maggie and keeping her in our prayers. Hopefully it will be a speedy recovery and she'll back to running around the house in no time. =)

First of all I thank you for the blessing of knowing Your Precious Child Maggie through this blog that her parents devotingly share with the world. She has been through so much Lord and You have been with her through everything and hold her in your loving arms daily. I ask you Father to heal her completely. Strengthen her bones in her leg to allow her to enjoy the freedom of walking. Please Jesus, heal her from all her pain, suffering and trauma she has faced most of her life. She is your precious child Jesus. Please keep giving her mommy and daddy strength to face these hardships and let them know this is not in vain. That Maggie is and will always be a blessing, a miracle, and will be Your instrument to help others get through similar circumstances that she has had to face in her life. I ask all this in Your Precious Name, Jesus. Amen.
I am so sorry to hear Maggie has a cast and cannot walk for now. I know Jesus is going to heal her and she will be back pushing her baby doll stroller soon. Will pray for all of you to have strength and faith. Please give Maggie lots of kisses and hugs from all of us here in Tennessee XOXOXOXOXOXOX
