Morning
We seem to be over the big drops and scary nights. Instead, we are watching Maggie's dependence on the ventilator slowly creep up. Which is just as scary. The breathing treatments that they tried yesterday weren't all that helpful. The first treatment helped them harvest quite a bit of mucous from her lungs. The next 4 didn't. After several of them, they had to increase her oxygen following the procedure. So I think they are suspending those for now. I expect that they'll put Maggie on her belly again today which often helps with getting oxygen. We are trying to keep our spirits high.

I recently read something from one of Beth Moore's bible studies, talking about the verse that says "God will not give you more than you can handle." And what that really means is that his grace is new every morning and he will give you enough grace to get through THAT day. And the next day, you'll get a new dose of grace to get through that NEXT day. So though the situation is overwhelming and seems more than you can handle, HE will provide each morning a way for you all to make it through the day, if you tap into his supernatural strength.
Day by day we'll continue to pray for Maggie to get better. And for strength and grace for both of you to get through THAT day!!!!
