Maggie remained stable overnight. Her blood gases remained about the same, with her CO2 still above normal (71-- normal is 40-50). Maggie's PH dropped a little bit, but is still within the range where they would like it. Maggie has been oxygenating well on her belly as they have her oxygen at 50% and her saturation has stayed around 98%. We will see what the doctors have to tell us during rounds. Thank you to God for answering the prayers for a stable night.
As with the disease, things can change in a minute and this happened with another little hemonc patient during the night. Please say a prayer for the family in the loss of their child.
It scares us to death and we pray that God will restore Maggie's health and we will only see signs of healing. Please continue to pray with us.

It is a word of encouraugement from the Lord. I will pray for you and for the family of this little one who has lost the battle. Love you. Cousin Ruth Ann

Andy and Whitney,
We have been following your blog since the beginning. Though we have never met Maggie in person, we feel like we know her from reading your posts. What a special little girl you have! We have been praying for her and for you guys constantly and will continue to pray for signs of healing and recovery.

continually praying here and for the family for their loss. love lucy
Continuing to pray for complete recovery with Maggie, I know that you two are very strong parents for her and that is what she is going to need in order to completely heal. God blessed not only you by giving you her but he also blessed Maggie by giving her great parents. God Bless you remember God is faithful, today tomorrow and always. His grace is sufficient!
We are praying so hard for little Maggie as well you and family. The lord is good and he will give you strength. Stay strong. We have so many people here praying as well as our prayer team at the church.
Love you guys. We feel you are our family too after all these years.

I am praying for Maggie. Your mom told me about her in the fall at Jessi's bridal shower and then later at the reception. I finally found your blog and will follow and keep praying for strenth for you and Andy and for a miraculous healing for little Maggie.
Love Melissa
Whitney, Andy and all the family members there with you (especially Grandma and Grandpa Lehman)I am checking your blog many times a day. In the past my school has blocked this and I couldn't get on -- but so far this week, miraculously I can and I am so thankful.
I am amazed at your prayer support. I tried to come up with some other words than "praying for you". I decided that is all that you need -- so we will keep on keeping on.
I would like to challenge your supporters to write where they are from and get an idea from where all these prayers are coming. I think you and all your prayer warriors will be amazed. I am praying from Pandora, OH, which is near Bluffton.
We had a teacher with H1N1 (at Thanksgiving)and was diagnosed with ARDS. She was a miracle story and is back at work. I asked her yesterday what advice she would give you and she said they removed that diagnosis. But she emphasized that it is very serious. The doctors stressed these important words: pray for baby steps -- you can't expect more than that. She can attest to the power of prayer in her healing -- especially for baby steps. And may Maggie have a similar tale to tell.
Praying for babsteps. Linda Lehman
Linda Lehman is right - Maggie is being prayed for by many!
We are with you. You've got prayers coming from here in South Florida, as well as from my family and churches in New Jersey. We also keep the family who had a loss last night in our thoughts.
Janette
We are friends of Sam and Melanie Park and have been praying for Maggie and your family so often... and we continue to lift her up in prayer so that she can beat this pneumonia! Thank you for the frequent updates. Still praying hard for Maggie. I heard about D.L. and can hardly believe. I am sure that was not easy for the two of you to see either. I also have his family in my prayers. See you soon
Keep fighting Maggie. You are a trooper and will win! Praying.
I rushed right home after school hoping to see you had, had a better night last night and today. I pray for rest and peace for all of you and of course, healing for Miss Maggie. Baby steps...one precious one at a time.

I am sending my prayers from Denver, CO. I don't know Andy and Whitney, besides having gone to Bluffton with them both (for one year) and I went to Central. We know a lot of the same people, and that's how I heard of Maggie's journey. I've been touched by the honesty and faith they are showing. I don't think any children should be sick or hurting, and as a Mommy I feel so deeply for Maggie, and just want her and all the other children to be playing outside, laughing. In a perfect world we won't see here. I believe that by praying for Maggie we are praying for them all.
Good Day Andy & Whitney & Maggie,
I'm SO HAPPY to hear that your precious Maggie had a STABLE night!
That just makes my day :) and we will continue to pray that she keeps it up!
"ROLL ON MAGGIE" "ROLL ON" "KEEP ON FIGHTING TILL YOU'RE ALL BETTER AND STRONG"!
Hey...I just realized that this rhymes. Maybe you could post this in big letters on the wall in Maggie's room and it could be her new slogan. Sounds like a plan...OR it could become a new song and I betcha it would become a #1 hit!
ALL SILLINESS ASIDE.....
I woke up at 7am and came straight to the computer to check for a new update. I continued to check every half hour but then I fell back asleep. What I'm about to say is kinda humorous...Ya know how every morning on a normal basis you wake up and go straight to the bathroom? Well, that hasn't been the case from the moment I found out Maggie needed a MIRACLE and was in ICU with pneumonia. I don't go straight to the bathroom anymore first. I go straight to the computer! I do not "pass go"...I just go straight to the computer!:) It's not normal anymore in our home unless I go straight to the computer to check on morning updates...but that is because I (we) CARE SO VERY MUCH AND ARE SO CONCERNED ABOUT MAGGIE...so I think you'll understand.
I was up all night sneezing and PRAYING for adorable Maggie. And yes "OUR GREAT GOD" does answer prayers! I pray out loud for Maggie, the both of you and your families when I'm at home. But not when I'm in a store or public place, there I pray to myself. I don't want to offend anyone or have anyone think I am trying to talk to them when I don't know them. So last night I was praying out loud here at home for God to heal Maggie from this pnemonia and also heal her little lungs and make them strong again. I prayed that you both were resting and sleeping good. In between every 3 words there was a sneeze...it was a sight. But I got all my prayers out for lovely Maggie, you both and your families then I started over.
I want to say how amazing you both are for having the faith and courage that you both do. You have been such an inspiration to me and everyone around me and to so many people. You both need a pat on the back for that and GREAT BIG HUGS! Maggie is so lucky to have you as parents...you surely are great ones!
Like I said before, you all need to take "baby steps". I took many classes during my challenges in life and that is the very first thing they teach you. That is how you will make it through the tough days.
I'm so very sorry for the loss last night. I have already said many prayers for that family.
I know what you both are going through and I can feel your pain. Yes, it is scarey and so difficult Andy & Whitney, but for those times God is "OUR ROCK AND SALVATION"! Just keep "THE FAITH" & "NEVER STOP BELIEVING"! So very many continued prayers coming to you ALL. LOTS OF WARM HUGS, LOTS OF THOUGHTS AND MAY GOD LIFT MAGGIE UP AND HEAL HER PRECIOUS LITTLE BODY! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND KEEP YOU SAFE!!!
MUCH LOVE, Tina, Bill, Tyler, Brock, Karen, Tim, Brittney, Bonnie, Steven, Paige, Baby Rhiannon, ALL my Family, Friends, Neighbors and Church Of The Nazerene Prayer Chain
So glad to hear that you had a stable night. Continued prayers for you all! Keep the faith and HOPE!

I am new to your blog and the story of Maggie. I sense in my heart your love for our Lord Jesus Christ, and as his children we know he holds us in his hands. It was wonderful to hear Maggie had a stable night, and I will continue to pray with the other prayer warriors for her full recovery. Carol.
Whitney, I don't know if you remember me, I went to Bluffton our freshman year. I just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking and praying for Maggie.

Many prayers are being lifted up for you guys from Fremont, OH! I have asked some of our MOPS moms from church to pray for all of you, too. Our family is constantly praying and checking in on sweet Maggie. We pray that in this situation you will know the peace that only Christ can bring.
Love and Hugs,
