Seeking some encouragement tonight, from Take 6.
I heard one say, "This road is rough.
And I don't know if I'll make it through."
Then the other turned and said
"Stay your course for just ahead
The place you seek is sure to come to you."
Over the hill is home
Just down the road is shelter
When you don't feel like trying, keep climbing
'Cause Over the hill is home
So if you ever find yourself
Out of strength in need of help
Know that hope is just a prayer away
The strength of God is always there
A faithful guide to lead you there
His mission is to show us the way
On the other side of night
Comes a day that shines so bright...
You may feel a little weary
But Jesus helps you
As you ride on His wings, yeah
Through the valleys He will guide
Keep His children by His side
Though the mountains seem so high
Oh you can make it if you try
Over the hill is home

DEAR ANDY AND WHITNEY, YOUR POEM IS ENLIGHTNING ...IT MADE ME CRY, GOOD TEARS THAT IS. IT IS VERY INSPIRATIONAL. THANK YOU BOTH FOR SHARING IT. AND YES "OVER THE HILL IS HOME" SEEMS SO TRUE AFTER YOU THINK ABOUT IT. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY THAT PRECIOUS MAGGIE REACHES THAT "OVER THE HILL IS HOME" STAGE SOON.
WE TRY TO IMAGINE WHAT YOU BOTH ARE GOING THROUGH AND WE HAVE A PRETTY GOOD IDEA. YOU BOTH HAVE BEEN SO GREAT IN KEEPING US UP TO DATE ON MAGGIE. WE ARE PRAYING SO VERY HARD AND CONSTANTLY FOR YOUR LOVELY DAUGHTER. WE ARE FRUSTRATED ALONG WITH YOU BECAUSE WE WANT MAGGIE TO TURN-THE-CORNER...AND SOON. I GUESS IF WE WEREN'T FRUSTRATED, THAT WOULD MEAN WE DIDN'T CARE.
ON OUR END WE FEEL HELPLESS. WE ARE PRAYING AND PRAYING, READING BIBLE SCRIPTS AND JUST EVERYTHING WE CAN DO FOR MAGGIE. MAY GOD PLEASE REACH HIS HAND OUT TO YOU BOTH AND GIVE YOU STRENGTH. MAY HE REFRESH BOTH YOUR WEARY AND WORN DOWN BODIES AND GIVE YOU STRONG ENERGY TO CARRY ON.
YES, THE ASSURANCE PART IS NO FUN. I KNOW YOU BOTH WELL...YOU ARE DOING SO WONDERFUL IN KEEPING THE FAITH GOING WITH PRAYER. AS HARD AS THIS MAY BE, JUST TRY TO LOOK AT ALL OF THE POSITIVE THINGS. TAKE A PEICE OF PAPER AND PEN AND SIT DOWN TOGETHER AND WRITE DOWN ALL THE POSITIVE THINGS AND THEN READ THEM TOGETHER. THAT MIGHT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.
WE PRAY THAT THE HOLDING PATTERN CHANGES SOON. WE ARE PRAYING SO HARD THAT MAGGIE MAKES IT THROUGH THIS UGLY TIME. COME ON BABY GIRL...YOU CAN DO IT!!!

As Always- i visit the blog first thing in the morning. It seems your spirits are high today and hopeful. i pray today is the day for that turn the corner kind of day. loving you and surrounding you in prayer. Maggie keep fighting hard and Lord i pray she is coughing. I am proud to know you, proud to love you, and strengthened by your example.
The sun is shining, and spring flowers are itching to show their faces soon. It doesn't happen overnight, but one day we wake up and see buds of green and patches of grass.
So, I pray, Maggie slowly begins to peek through soon so we can see the smile on her flowery face blessed in sunshine!

What a beautiful song. As always we are praying for you. Jackie prays for Maggie every night. She says, "Dear God, please take care of all my friends with cancer especially Skye, Toby, Baby Lincoln and Maggie." If you need anything please feel free to let us know.

That poem was beautiful--brought tears --as I read it I thought of the hill Maggie and you all have been climbling this past week. We Praise the Lord for HIS hand is continually upon Maggie and you all. We are continually praying --and as I have been updating a lot of people on what has been occurring they have all been sending their Praises and want you too know that they too are continually praying. love you ed and lucy

Just as I have been by Maggie's journey.Praying Maggie will have a lifetime of touching people's lives and doing God's work.
