Well it looks like "Miracle Maggie" has done it again! She is doing it all on her own terms and God Bless this angel! I'm so excited for her and for both of you. I'm glad I got on here early as I had my alarm set to start praying at 10am....now it's just been moved up a couple of hours. Tonight I will be at Mass and I will be lighting a candle in honor of your precious Maggie who has shown all of us what it is to be a true warrior. Praying for you all and praying that this extubation is a permanent thing! Your daughter is amazing. And your strength and faith in the Lord is the key to Maggie's recovery. You are truly amazing parents to an amazing angel.
Yay Maggie! I am so glad to see you in your mom's arms. That is where you belong!! Keep feeling better. keep showing them how very strong you are. I have been praying daily and waiting for the best time to write and it is now!! Will continue on to pray that your day stays smooth and your body strengthens.Every day is truly a blessing, just like Maggie.
Wonderful!!! Thank you, Lord!!! So inexpressibly glad that this first step has gone well. Thank you for the pictures. It's good to see you holding your little one, Whitney. We'll keep praying for your amazing little Maggie to do better and better off the vent and for the nausea and other withdrawal effects to be minimized by God's mighty power. Keep the faith, Mom & Dad. This is the first step out of the nightmare. May the journey out be swift and without detours. SO GLAD!!! Cousin Carol

We do not know each other at all - I don't live too far from your hometown Witney - Massillon. I've been reading this blog for some time now and all I could think of when I saw you holding that precious baby girl in your arms is how good your arms felt to you - and to her. The comfort and somewhat sense of relief and peace after this long trial of ICU. I know it's not over but I know what skin to skin does for both mother and child. I wish you all the best and will continue to pray for your family.
Hooray! It is so good to see pictures of you holding Maggie. We will be praising God for the big steps taken today and will continue to pray for healing. Love you guys, Nat and Andy
